Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City always determines the spirit of "for the whole country, with the whole country", ready to share and support localities facing difficulties due to natural disasters.

In the immediate future, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will advise the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to approve the support policy for Nghe An and Dong Thap provinces. Of which, Nghe An province will be supported with 3 billion VND and Dong Thap province 1 billion VND, drawn from the Ho Chi Minh City Relief Fund, through the Front system in the two provinces.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc suggested that armed forces, socio-political organizations and functional agencies of the city urgently contact affected localities to closely grasp the situation, determine actual needs and proactively develop appropriate relief plans. In particular, specialized fields such as electricity, water, rescue - relief... will be chaired by functional units, under the coordination of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to ensure concentration, synchronization, and avoid spreading resources.

The health sector needs to prepare human resources, vehicles, equipment and medicine to be ready to provide support, similar to how Ho Chi Minh City was supported by localities during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Medical units need to develop a mobilization plan according to the "head-on" model, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted medical support work. At the same time, coordinate to carefully survey the epidemic situation in flooded areas for a long time to prevent epidemics.
