Ho Chi Minh City launched an emergency reception of clothes and necessities to support people in flood-affected areas, focusing on Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong provinces.

On the evening of November 21, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City informed that up to now, the unit has received 15,526 donations with the amount of VND 234,917,524,020; more than 19,000 bags of household medicine, 70 tons of rice, 100 tons of essential goods and essential items with a total value of goods of more than VND 8.6 billion. The Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee has promptly distributed funds and goods to provinces affected by storms and floods.

Promoting the tradition of "City of Love - for the whole country, with the whole country", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City launched an emergency reception of clothes and necessities to support people in flood-affected areas, focusing on people in Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong provinces and some neighboring localities affected.

The unit called on agencies, units, organizations, businesses, religions, armed forces, union members, members of organizations and people of all walks of life in the city to support clothes and essential necessities. At the same time, encourage support for temporary household items after the flood such as sandals, socks, towels, soap, detergent, environmental sanitation solutions, masks, oils, and some common medicines according to the instructions of the health sector.

All goods will be inspected, classified, packaged by type and size by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and other units before being transported to damaged localities, ensuring the right place, right person, right need.

The time for receiving in phase 1 (urgent) is until the morning of November 22. In the second phase, the unit continued to receive support until the morning of November 24 to supplement support for areas that were still isolated, deeply flooded, and had long-term difficulties.

On the same evening, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City organized a package to send to people in the Central provinces.
