On September 7, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Vinh Long province coordinated with the Executive Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Thanh commune and Nguyet Hoa ward to organize a gift-giving program for people in difficult circumstances.
At the program, 400 gifts were sent to the people, of which 200 were in Chau Thanh commune and 200 were in Nguyet Hoa ward. Each portion is worth over 700,000 VND, including cash and essential necessities, the total support value is up to nearly 300 million VND.
The funding source is contributed by the Executive Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Thuan Quan Group, La Du Chuong Duong Clerical Temple and Tran Nhan Medical Equipment Production Company Limited.
The activity not only has the meaning of material support, helping people reduce difficulties but also is a spiritual encouragement for households to be more determined to rise up, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing and working with local authorities to effectively carry out social security work.
