On July 8, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Pha commune (HCMC) said that it had organized a gift-giving ceremony to support poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in the commune.
With the support of Mr. Thai Khac Than (former Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune), the Thien Duc Charity Association and benefactors, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Pha commune organized the presentation of 90 gifts including rice and necessities, worth a total of 55 million VND to poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in the area.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Pha commune, this is a very meaningful activity, the support of volunteer and philanthropist associations and local forces has created conditions to help and support the poor to overcome difficulties; strongly spreading the spirit of mutual love and connection in the locality.
