According to information from Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), after train SNT4 stopped at Nha Trang station and passengers all got off, during cleaning and tidying up the carriage, Flight 7 attendant To Thi Thanh Tuyen discovered a black crossbody bag forgotten in bed area No. 1.

The incident was immediately reported to Captain Le Thanh Van. The train crew conducted an asset inspection in the presence of relevant departments. Inside the bag were 25 million VND in cash, along with 2 passports and 2 visa-free papers.
After making a record according to regulations, the Train Commander quickly contacted passengers through information on the ticket system to notify them of receiving property back.
