Tuyen Quang firmly supports the great national unity bloc

In the new house, Mr. Hau Mi Phuong's family in Minh Tan commune, Tuyen Quang province is no longer worried about the cold winds in the mountainous areas. For Mr. Phuong, the house is like a dream come true.

As a poor household in the commune, where Mr. Phuong's family lives on the mountainside, construction is both expensive and difficult. Perhaps that is why for many years, the family has accepted to live in a dilapidated house, worried every time it rains or is windy.

"The state supported 60 million to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, my family also saved and borrowed more, earning a total of more than 100 million to rebuild the house. However, that amount of money is not enough to build a house because transporting materials is very expensive.

Without the cooperation and help of the government, the Fatherland Front and the unions and organizations in the commune, I probably wouldn't dare to build a house," Mr. Phuong recalled.

To help Mr. Phuong's family, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations such as the Youth Union, Veterans Association, Women's Union, Border Guard... joined hands to transport free materials. Each bag of cement, each sheet of corrugated iron, each brick is transported by motorbike. Although it is hard, everyone is not afraid, all for the reason of a new house for the poor.

Through the "For the Poor" Fund, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province has received over 355 billion VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area. In addition to contributing financial support, philanthropists and volunteers, the police force, the army, Party committees, local authorities and organizations, unions and people have joined hands to work more than 135,000 working days.

With creative and flexible ways of making, solid, spacious houses are gradually springing up across the villages. By August 31, 2025, Tuyen Quang province has completed the goal of eliminating 15,064 temporary houses, of which 11,511 were newly built and 3,553 were renovated and repaired. This is the result of a miracle created from profound lessons of unity and trust.

Mr. Ha Trung Kien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province said that the province has identified propaganda, mobilization, and gathering the strength of the entire population in participating in the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses as one of the key tasks of the front work, thereby actively implementing many solutions to mobilize social resources.

"In addition to support from the State, the cooperation of agencies, units, and mass organizations is very important to help complete the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Many poor households and ethnic minority households are also supported with additional funding and materials for households to build houses in accordance with the identity and customs of each ethnic group," Mr. Ha Trung Kien informed.

In addition, emulation movements and campaigns were widely and effectively implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tuyen Quang province, creating a strong influence in the community.

In the coming term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tuyen Quang province will continue to identify the central task of consolidating, expanding and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc. Strengthen grassroots activities, closely connect with the people, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of all classes of people.

Speaking with reporters, Mr. Ma The Hong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province said that the Front will promote patriotic emulation movements, innovate propaganda and mobilization content, focus on promoting the role of supervision and social criticism. Participating in building a clean and strong Party and government contributes to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals.

"In the new context, the Provincial Fatherland Front will continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, taking the grassroots as the center, taking the people as the subject. We determined to increase the practicality and effectiveness of campaigns and emulation movements, building a team of Front cadres with courage, capacity, prestige and enthusiasm for mass mobilization work," Mr. Ma The Hong emphasized.
