Supporting people affected by storms and floods: Mobilization and reception campaign is about to end

By the end of January 31, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee will stop receiving support for flood victims from agencies, organizations, and individuals.

On October 2, 2025, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) issued a Call to Support People Affected by Storm No. 10; then, before the situation of continuous storms and floods, on November 21, 2025, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front continued to issue a Call to Support People in the Central and Central Highlands regions affected by floods.

Since the launch of support, the entire Front system has received over 3,900 billion VND; of which, 1,368,915 individuals, 17,125 organizations, units, and businesses have supported through accounts and directly at the receiving points of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee. The amount of funds and value of exhibits received through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee is 1,271.155 billion VND.

The Central Relief Mobilization Committee has allocated 10 phases with funding with a total amount of over 833 billion VND, the rest will continue to be allocated during the Lunar New Year 2026.

After the receiving period, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has just issued a notice on the time of completion of the mobilization and support reception for people affected by storms and floods.

According to the announcement, based on Decree No. 93/2021/ND-CP dated October 27, 2021 of the Government on mobilizing, receiving, distributing and using voluntary contributions to support overcoming difficulties caused by natural disasters, epidemics, and incidents; supporting patients with dangerous diseases; based on the situation and results of overcoming damage caused by storms and floods in localities, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee announces the end of the mobilization and support phase for people affected by storms and floods on January 31, 2026.

After 24 hours on January 31, 2026, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee stopped receiving support from agencies, organizations, and individuals.
