Education needs to be nurtured from three important "houses"
After the adjournment session on the morning of September 22, in the afternoon, the 1st Congress of the Fatherland Front Party Committee (FPA) and Central organizations for the 2025-2030 term entered the discussion in groups.
At the No. 3 discussion group, Mr. Ngo Van Cuong - full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions was the group leader; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Trade Unions, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - was the deputy group leader.

As the first person invited to speak, Mr. Nguyen Quang Thieu - Chairman of the Vietnam Writers' Association - said that in the past, the Writers' Association has had an initiative to coordinate with the Ministry of Education and Training to propose and complete two sets of textbooks.
One ministry focuses on teaching and guiding the Vietnamese Revolution and the Party's ideals; the other ministry is for students from grades 1 to 12, to educate about the life, career and ideology of leader Ho Chi Minh.
The Vietnam Writers Association has sent an official dispatch to General Secretary To Lam and recently, the Central Party Office has issued a document conveying the General Secretary's instructions, expressing high support for this initiative, and at the same time requesting the Ministry of Education and Training to quickly and systematically deploy the two ministries of study.
According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Thieu, 25 years ago, in a survey with secondary school students, the question was very simple: "Who do you love, Quang Trung or Quan Van Truong?". At that time, up to 85% of students answered that they were in love with Quan Van Truong.
This situation, according to him, reflects the "inflation" and is the fault of Vietnamese writers, teachers, culturalists, and historians and raises many issues that need to be resolved soon.
Mr. Thieu also talked about the incident of students pulling the teacher's hair, which has caused a stir in public opinion in recent days. To avoid repeating this situation, he said that education is not only limited to the scope of the Ministry of Education and Training, of schools, but more widely, as writers often say, Vietnamese education is nurtured by three important "houses": schools, pagodas and our homes.

Mr. Thieu also commented that the Vietnamese people have never lived in such a strong inspiration as now. This is due to the important viewpoints, perceptions and steps of the Party and State leaders.
"As Uncle Ho said, "Culture shows the national path". I think we have always followed that slogan. someone once asked me, if I call our new era by another name, what does writer Nguyen Quang Thieu call it? I say that this is the era of the people, because in all actions, thoughts and statements... everything has been done for the Vietnamese people, said Mr. Nguyen Quang Thieu.
The Resolution on breakthroughs in education and training development is a "pillar of pillars"
Commenting at the discussion group, Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) - proposed to continue to identify VCCI as a political - social - professional organization, a mass organization assigned by the Party and the State, in line with the position of the business community and the business community in the new context.
Mr. Vinh also emphasized that the Resolution on breakthroughs in education and training development is of special importance, considered a "pillar of pillars" in the country's development strategy.
Similar to the way VCCI has implemented Resolution 68 on private economic development, the implementation of this Resolution needs to further highlight the supervision work, while supplementing and perfecting the work results of Party cells and Party committees in socio-political organizations and mass organizations.
Mr. Ngo Van Cuong said that the No. 3 discussion group has 70 delegates, and will comment and discuss the draft Political Report submitted to the 1st National Party Congress of the Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions for the 2025-2030 term; draft Report on reviewing the leadership of the Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term; draft Resolution of the 1st National Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 1st National Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; report and summarize comments on the draft Documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.
