A big tree fell, injuring 1 person in Phan Thiet

Binh Thuan - A woman was injured by a large acacia tree falling in the middle of Phan Thiet Street.

At around 9:00 a.m. on June 6, on Tran Quy Cap Street, Tien Loi Commune, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province, a tree along the road broke its roots and fell on a woman.

According to local residents, the woman was waiting for the bus at the house waiting on the side of the road when suddenly a large rosewood tree broke and hit her. Many people shouted and joined forces to lift the trunks to pull the injured out.

The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance for emergency care. According to observations at the scene, the trunk of the acacia tree was about 0.5 meter in diameter, high and had a large canopy.

The location of the tree broke at the root, no root to reveal the root. The tree canopy occupies a part of the traffic. At the time of the incident, it was sunny, no rain.

After the incident, the locality ordered forces to cut down fallen trees to clear the scene, ensuring safe traffic.
