From the 27th day of Tet to the 4th day of Tet, the North will be affected by the weakening and changing cold air mass, so there will be fog at night and in the morning, and sunshine in the afternoon.
In the Central region, the weather is differentiated. Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue city have weather similar to the weather in the North. Cloudy, foggy at night and in the morning, sunny during the day. The temperature maintains a pleasant level" - Mr. Huong said.
According to the Head of the Weather Forecast Department, usually during Tet, the Central Highlands and the South often have hot weather, but this year it is at a pleasant level. In the South, the highest temperature is about 30 - 33 degrees Celsius.
Thus, the weather in the North, Central, and Southern regions is generally quite favorable for spring travel and Tet holiday activities" - Mr. Huong said.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has also updated weather forecast information from February 7 - 22, 2026 (from December 20th to the 6th day of Tet).
Northern region

Scattered rain, especially the Northwest region has rain in some places, early morning fog in some places, sunny in the afternoon.
