In the afternoon and evening of October 11, the area from Quang Tri to Phu Yen, the Southern Central Highlands and the South is forecast to have showers and scattered thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain.Rainfall is from 15 - 30mm, with some places experiencing over 90mm.Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (rainfall greater than 90mm within 6 hours).

From the night of October 11 to October 12, the area from Quang Tri to Phu Yen, the Southern Central Highlands and the South is forecast to have moderate rain and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain.

The Meteorological Agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains may cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams; and landslides on steep slopes.
