Weather forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the next 24 to 48 hours, the weather in the North will be generally sunny.
Northern and North Central regions: no rain at night, early morning fog and scattered light fog, sunny during the day. Early morning and night are cold.
In the Central Central region, there will be rain in some places at night and sunny during the day; from the evening and night of November 11, there will be rain, moderate rain, locally heavy rain in some places. From the night of November 11 to the night of November 12, the area from Thua Thien Hue to Phu Yen will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall from 70 - 150mm, locally over 250mm.
The Central Highlands region will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms on November 12 with rainfall from 40 - 90mm, locally over 180mm.
Other areas have showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night, sunny during the day.
Weather forecast from night of November 13 to November 21
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has made comments on notable weather trends in some areas from the night of November 13 to November 21.
In the Northern and North Central regions from November 14 to November 17, it is forecasted that there will be rain in some places at night, scattered fog and light fog in the early morning, and sunny days. In the mountainous areas of the North, it will be cold at night. From November 18, the sun will gradually decrease and the temperature will drop.
The Central Central region has scattered showers; on the night of November 13, there will be moderate to heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain.
The South Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms from the night of November 13 to November 21. Thunderstorms are likely to produce tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
