From midnight to early morning on August 28, Hanoi may experience intermittent light rain, then the weather will be clear and sunny.
On August 29, the weather in the capital is forecast to be quite favorable, with little rain.
However, from the afternoon of August 29 to the end of August 30, the Hanoi area will have scattered rain.
During the holiday, on the night of September 1 and early morning of September 2, Hanoi weather forecast is likely to have light rain, but from 8:00 a.m. on September 2, the weather will be calm, with little chance of rain.
The meteorological agency recommends that people should regularly monitor forecasts for updated information, proactively arrange activities and travel plans.
Some key milestones of the parade and fireworks display to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 (from now until September 2) are as follows:
- Pre-approvals at the state level from 8:00 p.m. on August 27, 2025.
- General approval at the state level from 6:30 a.m. on August 30, 2025.
- The official ceremony is 6:30 a.m. on September 2, 2025.

On the evening of September 2, Hanoi also organized fireworks displays at 5 locations including Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium and West Lake in traditional form and artistic fireworks.
