On the afternoon of May 19, the General Meeting of Shareholders of the Zircon Industrial Industry Association (ZIA) visited Titan Hoang Long Mineral Processing Joint Stock Company (Quang Binh) to visit the sustainable mining model. This is a sideline activity within the framework of the ZIA event held in Hanoi from May 20 to 22, 2025.
The purpose of the visit is to learn about the titanium mineral production and processing model in Vietnam, as well as to record the current status of businesses in the mining industry.
At Hoang Long factory, the delegation visited the main operating area, discussed with technical staff about the mineral processing process, the use of technology and environmental protection measures applied in the exploitation and production process.
In addition to technical factors, the delegation also learned more about resource management policies, relationships with local communities and the level of compliance with regulations related to mineral exploitation.
The message throughout the visit is to acknowledge the efforts to build a titanium exploitation model in an environmentally friendly way, save resources, apply modern technology and close closely with the community. The contents are focused including: Developing Vietnam's Titan industry in the direction of completing the value chain, improving deep processing efficiency, and ensuring the rights of the community in the project area.
It is known that ZIA is an international association in the UK consisting of experts in the zirconia - zirconium value chain. Each conference is a place to connect businesses, researchers and government representatives to share market trends, new technology and sustainable development policies.
Mr. Phan Xuan Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Binh Province said that the fact that Titan Hoang Long Mineral Processing Joint Stock Company was chosen as a destination during the visit of the International Zircon Association not only showing the recognition of the responsible exploitation - processing model but also showed that businesses are one of the important units in the mineral value chain in the region.
This is also an opportunity for Quang Binh to affirm its role in the field of sustainable mineral production, while opening up the possibility of deeper international cooperation in the future.
