Confidently escape poverty
In the dilapidated level 4 house, about 60m2 wide of Ms. Ami Houh, Ami Huoh, in Ea Ho commune, there are 6 people living together. Having been a poor household for more than 5 years, she and her family have always been concerned and thinking about ways to escape poverty sustainably.
"My biggest wish is to escape poverty. Many times, seeing that my neighbor's house is well-off but my family is still lacking, I am very saddened".

During the difficult period, at the end of 2024, Mrs. Ami Houh's family received support from the local government for breeding cows. In addition, coffee trees are currently growing well. It is expected that by the end of 2025, Ms. Ami Houh can realize her desire to escape poverty.
Similarly, the case of Mr. Mao Van Thu, a Tay ethnic group, in DlieYa commune, is also trying every day to escape the poverty line. Accordingly, Mr. Thu borrowed and bought coffee seedlings to plant.

"Coffee is the main agricultural product of the people of the Central Highlands. My commune has fertile land, making it easy to grow this crop. On the other hand, the coffee price has always remained stable, so I have determined this is a top priority for developing my family's economy" - Mr. Thu shared.
According to the People's Committee of Krong Nang district, in 2024, the district has reduced the poverty rate by 2.06%, reaching 103% of the plan set out according to the multidimensional poverty standard for the period 2021 - 2025.
Of which, the poverty rate among ethnic minorities decreased by 3.82%. By 2025, the district aims to reduce the poverty rate by 1.5 - 2% according to the multidimensional poverty standard for the period 2021 - 2025. Of which, the poverty rate among ethnic minorities will decrease by 3 - 4%.

Continuing to renovate and upgrade infrastructure
According to the People's Committee of Krong Nang district, from the beginning of 2025 to now, the district has focused on implementing source projects for the national target program for the development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Of which, there are 16 projects to maintain and repair works with a total investment of more than 25 billion VND.

During the implementation process, the People's Committee of Krong Nang district has regularly urged investors to organize construction works to ensure quality. The district's goal is to ensure that the projects can be immediately effective after being handed over and put into use.
At the same time, from the capital of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction, the district is also focusing on accelerating the disbursement progress, investing in developing infrastructure and supporting to improve the lives of beneficiaries.

The leader of the People's Committee of Krong Nang district shared: "Reducing poverty is not only about increasing income for people but also improving their quality of life. The fact that people in the district have applied effective agricultural production models such as growing coffee, durian, and raising breeding cows has helped many families escape poverty.
The program to support plant and animal varieties, farming techniques and product consumption has created clear changes in people's lives".
According to the leader of the People's Committee of Krong Nang district, in addition to economic development, raising public awareness of culture, education and health also plays an important role in poverty reduction.
Therefore, the district has focused on investing in building schools and health stations, improving the quality of education and health care for people.
