On August 26, the People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward, Lam Dong Province, said that it had coordinated with functional forces to dismantle many illegal tents and street vendors in the coastal area.
This work aims to restore urban landscape, ensure environmental sanitation and security and order.

Recently, in the Mui Ne fishing village area, Long Son Suoi Nuoc coast and some other locations along Mui Ne coast, many households have arbitrarily set up tents to trade seafood. These makeshift tents cause loss of aesthetics and environmental sanitation.
Previously, from July 10, the People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward had issued a notice twice requesting people to voluntarily dismantle it, with a deadline of August 20. However, many cases still do not comply.

To completely handle the situation, the People's Committee of the ward coordinated with the police, security forces at the grassroots level, organizations and the Ham Tien - Mui Ne Tourist Area Management Board to dismantle 16 illegal tents.

In parallel with handling, the authorities also propagated to households to raise awareness of complying with regulations, not to rebuild tents and encroach on the coast.

The Mui Ne fishing village area has beautiful scenery, a place where tourists often stop to take photos. However, the illegal construction of tents has created a shabby image, making tourists lose sympathy.

This demolition not only restores order but also aims to build the image of a civilized and clean destination for tourists when coming to Mui Ne.
