On December 28, 2024, there will be rain in the Central and South Central regions, especially in the area from Thua Thien Hue to Phu Yen, there will be moderate rain, with heavy rain in some places.
From the night of December 28 to 30, 2024, the above area will have scattered rain; from December 31, 2024 to January 3, 2025, there will be rain, especially in the area from Quang Nam to Khanh Hoa, there will be moderate to heavy rain.
From December 31, 2024 to January 3, 2025, there is a possibility of fluctuations on rivers from Quang Nam to Khanh Hoa. Warnings of the risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas, flooding in low-lying areas along rivers and urban areas in the provinces from Quang Nam to Khanh Hoa are still possible. Central Highlands and Southern Region
From December 28, 2024 to January 3, 2025, the Central Highlands and the South will have sunny days, localized thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, and no rain at night.

Oceanographic situation assessment
Wave forecast from December 28 to 30, 2024, in the East Sea area (including Hoang Sa archipelago and Truong Sa), wave height ranges from 4 to 6m; in the area from Quang Tri to Binh Thuan, wave height is commonly 3 to 6m.
From December 31, 2024 to January 3, 2025, wave height tends to decrease across the region, except for the North East Sea where wave height remains stable at 2 - 3.5m.
Regarding high tides, from December 30, 2024 to January 4, 2025, high tides on the eastern coast of the South are at high levels, low-lying areas along the coast, riversides, and areas outside the dykes in the Southeast are likely to be flooded in the morning, evening, and night.
