On July 25, Le Thuy Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that besides the task of ensuring security and order, the unit regularly deploys social security activities to support people in difficult circumstances.
Regularly on Saturday mornings of the third week of each month, officers and soldiers of Le Thuy Commune Police coordinate with Agribank Le Thuy Branch officers to distribute free porridge to patients being treated at Le Thuy Regional General Hospital.
From December 2025 to now, the "Shared Breakfast" model has been organized in 8 phases, awarding 1,200 free porridge portions with a total budget of 24 million VND.
These porridge portions contribute to supporting food costs for patients and their families, and at the same time encourage patients during treatment.
According to Le Thuy Commune Police, the model is a coordination activity between the Police force and agencies and businesses in social security work, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual affection in the community.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Quang Chiem - Head of Le Thuy Commune Police said that implementing the "Three Bests" emulation movement, the unit always identifies being close to the people, close to the people, caring for and sharing with the people as a regular task.
Lieutenant Colonel Chiem shared that through the "Breakfast Sharing" model, commune police officers and soldiers want to bring warm porridge portions to patients being treated at Le Thuy Regional General Hospital, especially those in difficult circumstances, thereby contributing to reducing costs and encouraging the spirit of patients to feel secure in treatment.
The activity also contributes to building the image of People's Police officers and soldiers who are close to the people, respect the people, and serve the people.
In the coming time, Le Thuy Commune Police will continue to maintain and improve the effectiveness of the "Sharing Breakfast" model; and at the same time deploy more social security activities, care for and support vulnerable people and people in difficult circumstances.
Through this, the unit aims to consolidate trust, strengthen the bond between people and the Police force, and join hands in building the locality.
