On January 14, the People's Committee of Ea Toh commune, Krong Nang district (Dak Lak) announced that the Executive Committee of the Commune Youth Union had just coordinated with the Charity Heart Club to organize the program "Charity Music Night".
The program aims to spread love and support especially difficult circumstances in the area.
The Charity Music Night was a success with 13 outstanding performances. The performances were elaborately staged by Nguyen Viet Xuan Primary School, the Vi Giam Folk Song Club of Tan Loc village, and the Vi Giam Folk Song Team, leaving a strong impression on the audience.
Among them, the performance of the Vi Giam Folk Song Club of Tan Loc village left the deepest impression. With the majority of people in the commune originating from Ha Tinh and Thua Thien Hue, the simple and familiar Vi Giam songs evoked nostalgia for their homeland in the hearts of those far away from home.
At the end of the year, this activity not only has cultural significance but also strengthens solidarity, cohesion and mutual support in the community.
At the event, benefactors and local officials contributed 20 million VND to charity.
At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 40 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to 40 families in difficult circumstances, demonstrating the spirit of "No one should go without Tet".
These gifts not only have material value but also convey love, motivation and belief for the disadvantaged to rise up in life.
The leader of the People's Committee of Ea Toh commune shared that, as scheduled, every Lunar New Year, the commune government organizes activities to return to the homeland and roots.
The performances in the program are the crystallization of many regional cultural identities, bringing a systematic and meaningful living space for people far from home.
We appreciate this humane program. The activity not only contributes to preserving culture but also joins hands with the Party Committee and local government to support disadvantaged families.
"I hope that the Commune Youth Union and volunteer organizations will continue to carry out more meaningful programs to help disadvantaged people in the area," the commune leader emphasized.
