On October 18, Lieutenant Colonel Bui Duy Tuan - Head of Kon Braih Commune Police (Quang Ngai Province) said that the commune police force had coordinated with local people to go through the forest to search and bring the 95-year-old woman lost in the forest to safety.
Previously, at 9:00 a.m. on October 16, Mr. Y Be (95 years old), residing in Dak O Ng Lang village, Kon Braih commune, left home to go to the fields but did not return until evening.

The family and the village management board have been searching for more than a day but still have not found the whereabouts of Mr. Y Be, so they reported to Kon Braih Commune Police.
Immediately after receiving the information, Kon Braih Commune Police quickly mobilized a working group of 10 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local security forces, militia, local people and families to divide into many groups to urgently search.
At 4:30 p.m. on October 17, the authorities found Mr. Y Be in the rice field area adjacent to the forest of village 11 (Kon Braih commune). When found, Mr. Y Be was in stable health.
Mr. A Khinh, Head of Dak O Ng Lang village, said that during his 2 days lost in the deep forest, Mr. Y Be drank stream water, slept in the bushes and used a plastic raincoat to keep warm.
Fortunately, the authorities found him in time, otherwise, with his health and age too old, Mr. Y Be was in danger of losing his life.
