Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security, on the morning of January 26, 2026, during patrols, inspections and ensuring traffic order and safety on the Phap Van - Cao Bo - Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway, Task Force of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) promptly supported to take a pregnant woman on labor to the emergency room.
Accordingly, at about 7:00 AM, at Km259 of the above highway, the task force discovered a car parked on the side of the road to ask for help.
Through discussion, the driver said that while taking his wife to Hanoi to give birth, the pregnant woman suddenly had severe abdominal pain, signs of labor, risk of giving birth right on the road, threatening the safety of both mother and baby.
Faced with the emergency situation, the task force quickly reported and requested instructions from the unit Commander. After being approved, the traffic police force used specialized cars, turned on priority signals, and urgently took the pregnant woman to Ha Nam Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment. The travel distance was more than 50km.
Thanks to being safely taken to the hospital, the pregnant woman was received and treated promptly by doctors and nurses. Currently, the health of both mother and child is stable.
