In addition, the locality also strengthens coordination with relevant agencies and units to complete the creation of electronic health records for 100% of people subject to periodic health check-ups or free screening.

According to the plan, the program will be implemented from July 21 to August 6 at 4 locations including: Phuong Son Primary School, Vinh Ngoc Primary School, Vinh Thanh Primary School and Hon Nghe 2 Village Cultural House, Tay Nha Trang ward.

The subjects eligible for free examination include the elderly; people with disabilities; people from poor and near-poor households; people with meritorious services to the revolution and people with chronic diseases.

The medical team of Yersin Nha Trang General Hospital directly performs health check-ups and screenings according to the service list and professional guidance issued by the Ministry of Health.

Present at the examination point, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong (72 years old) said that elderly people like her often have many underlying diseases but do not always have the conditions to have regular check-ups.

Being organized for free health check-ups by the locality, I am very excited because I am both given general check-ups by doctors, advice on how to take care of my health, and early detection of diseases if any.

This is a very practical program, helping older people like us feel more secure and reduce medical examination and treatment costs" - Ms. Hong said.
