Afternoon of August 6, the People's Committee of Bảo Lộc City (Lâm Đồng Province) organized an impromptu award ceremony for Mr. Phạm Xuân Tuệ (84 years old), residing at Ward 2, Bảo Lộc City, for his noble deed of "Picking up lost items and returning them to their owners".
Prior to the aforementioned noble deed, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bảo Lộc City Nguyễn Văn Phương signed a decision to award a certificate of merit to Mr. Phạm Xuân Tuệ. This activity aims to honor Mr. Tuệ's honest heart and sense of responsibility in order to promote it within the community.
In his speech at the award ceremony, Mr. Phan Văn Cương – Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bảo Lộc City, emphasized: "Mr. Phạm Xuân Tuệ is a shining example of honesty and sense of responsibility towards the community".
According to Mr. Cương, Mr. Tuệ's actions not only brought joy to the owner of the lost property, but also contributed to creating and promoting a sense of trust in community life. Mr. Tuệ deserves to be a shining example for the elderly to learn from and follow.

Earlier, Lao Động Newspaper reported the article "84-year-old elderly man picks up wallet, finds owner". The article stated that after picking up the wallet containing money, the 84-year-old elderly man went to the Public Security Office to report and ask for help in finding the owner.
