8 years of free haircuts
The idea of free haircuts was initiated and implemented by Mr. Vung from around 2017, with the desire to help people have neat hair. But then, the more he did, the more passionate he became, and the activity became a regular occurrence in his life as a charity work.

Just like that, every week or every month, he and the main and auxiliary workers at his hair salon share and accompany charity groups to remote and isolated areas to get haircuts for free. The people who get haircuts can be lonely elderly people, lottery ticket sellers, disabled aunts and uncles or students. All of them are cared for and meticulously trimmed by the workers in the team with all their hearts.
Because that is Mr. Vung's wish on every journey: "In 8 years, the group has barbered for thousands of people across the provinces and cities of the Mekong Delta. Although it is free, we all put our heart into each pulling line, that is the affection of the craftsman for customers.

With all his heart and dedication to the profession, Mr. Vung and the workers in the delegation always receive the love of the people and charity organizations.
Coming with his son to get a free haircut, Mr. Phan Truong Nghia (Thoi Lai commune, Can Tho city) shared: "We are very grateful to the workers who dedicatedly cut hair for the two father and son. The new hair is both neat and beautiful, after cutting it, I also feel more comfortable and confident.

Giving livelihoods to young people
Before becoming a professional worker and owning his own shop as it is now, Mr. Vung had a difficult time when he was young, having to drop out of school early to earn a living. Perhaps, from understanding the difficult life, Mr. Vung opened zero-dollar vocational training courses for young people who have passion but do not have enough conditions to study.
From these classes, many people have become entrepreneurs and have stable jobs. Mr. Truong Tri Lam (Vinh Long province) expressed his happiness and gratitude: "After a period of studying and becoming a entrepreneur, I was recruited by Mr. Vung as the main worker at the shop. Thanks to that, I have a fairly stable life and income.
In addition to working at the salon, Mr. Lam also accompanies Mr. Vung and colleagues on free haircuts. For Mr. Lam, each free haircut journey is not just about honing skills but also wanting to contribute his strength to help life.
Also a free vocational class student, Mr. Bui Duc Luan (Can Tho City) is happy to receive dedicated support from his teacher and senior colleagues. Mr. Luan expressed that after becoming a professional, he will stay to help the shop for a while, as a way to repay the years of free vocational training.
Appreciating the contributions of Mr. Vung and his colleagues, Ms. Le Kim Xuyen - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thoi Lai commune, and also Chairwoman of the Women's Union of the commune (Can Tho City) - shared: "Over the past time, the locality has received enthusiastic companionship from you in social security activities. We highly appreciate this practical contribution and hope that in the coming time, Mr. Vung and charitable organizations will continue to stand side by side with the locality to help people in difficult circumstances and spread the spirit of compassion to more places.
