Tay Yen Commune Police (An Giang Province) said that the unit had just received a cross-wearing bag picked up by people and brought to the headquarters to report and hand over. When checking, there were many assets, papers, and valuable items in the bag.
After receiving information that people had picked up lost property, Tay Yen Commune Police announced to find the owner and organize verification. On July 25, Mr. Le Quoc Han (born in 1998, residing in Dong Thai commune) contacted the commune police because he suspected that it was his property. Through verification, the police determined that Mr. Han was the one who dropped it and returned the property to him according to regulations.
Mr. Han said that he came home from work and discovered the bag lost. After hearing the news that someone had picked him up and brought him to the police station to hand him over, he was very happy. Mr. Han also sent his deep thanks to the person who picked up the lost items, brought them to the police station to report and hand them over.
The act of picking up lost property and handing it over to a state agency to find and return to the owner is a noble gesture, demonstrating the quality of honesty and kindness in life. Good deeds need to be respected, replicated and spread throughout society.
