    HUE - A resident who picked up 5 million VND asked the police to verify and return it to the person who dropped it.

    On the afternoon of April 18, Phong Thu Ward Police (Phong Dien Town, Hue City) returned the lost property to Ms. Tran Thi Thuy (born in 1981, residing in Quang Thai Commune, Quang Dien District).

    Previously, on the morning of April 17, Phong Thu Ward Police received a report from Mr. Le Huu Truong (born in 1983, residing in Tan Lap residential group, Phong Thu Ward) about picking up 5 million VND at an ATM in the area.

    Immediately after receiving the information, Phong Thu Ward Police urgently conducted verification to find the person who dropped the money.

    By April 18, the police had identified Ms. Tran Thi Thuy as the owner of the above amount and invited her to the headquarters to receive the property back.

    After receiving the property back, Ms. Thuy expressed her joy and sent a letter of thanks to Phong Thu Ward Police for quickly verifying and returning the property. At the same time, she also expressed her sincere gratitude to Mr. Le Huu Truong for his noble gesture.
