Quang Tri - A student picked up a wallet and paid it to the police to find and return the person who dropped it, then the Dong Hoi Ward Police received a thank you letter.

On December 11, Dong Hoi Ward Police said they had received a thank you letter from Mr. Nguyen Ba Tong, residing in Kien Duc Commune, Lam Dong Province. In the letter, Mr. Tong expressed his gratitude when the Dong Hoi Ward Police force supported, connected and returned the property he had lost before.

Previously, Nguyen Kim Khanh (born in 2013, residing on Phong Nha Street, Dong Hoi Ward), a student at Nam Ly Secondary School No. 1, picked up a leather wallet. Inside the wallet were personal documents and 550,000 VND.

Immediately after picking up the wallet, Khanh brought it to the Dong Hoi Ward Police Department for handover and asked the police to verify and find the person who lost the property.

Dong Hoi Ward Police received the property, conducted verification and identified the owner as Mr. Nguyen Ba Tong. Major Tu Long Chau - a police officer of Dong Hoi ward directly contacted and supported the return of the wallet to Mr. Tong. At that time, Mr. Tong had a broken leg accident and could not come directly to receive it.

Receiving the property, Mr. Tong said he was very touched by the dedication and responsibility of the Dong Hoi Ward Police officer.

In the thank you letter, he expressed his appreciation for the spirit of serving the people and his belief in the close and humane image of the People's Public Security force.
