Khanh Hoa - Cam Ranh International Airport Police twice returned thousands of USD and important documents to international visitors who forgot them.

On the afternoon of July 16, the leader of the Cam Ranh International Airport (HKQT) Border Gate Police said that in just 4 days, an officer of the unit twice picked up and returned intact valuable assets to two international passengers who had forgotten them at the terminal.

Previously, on June 18, during patrols, inspections, and ensuring security and order at Passenger Terminal T2 of Cam Ranh International Airport, Lieutenant Tran Quoc Toan - officer of International Security Control Team 1 discovered a handbag forgotten in the terminal area.

Through inspection, inside the bag were 3,900 USD, 6 passports, 2 mobile phones and many other important documents. The owner of this property is a passenger with Oman nationality.

Immediately after the discovery, Lieutenant Tran Quoc Toan reported to the unit commander, and at the same time coordinated with functional forces to urgently verify information, contact passengers and complete procedures to return all assets fully and intact.

Just four days later, on June 22, while continuing to perform patrol and supervision duties in the station area, Lieutenant Tran Quoc Toan discovered another case of a passenger forgetting property.

This time, the assets included 1,250 USD, 600,000 Korean won, 2 passports and 1 mobile phone of a Korean national passenger.
