On the afternoon of May 24, An Don Ward Police (Quang Tri Town, Quang Tri Province) said that the unit is verifying the identity of the man who jumped into the river to save the drowning woman.
Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on May 24, Ms. N.T.N.H (born in 1990, from Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province) stopped her motorbike on Thach Han bridge through An Don ward, then suddenly fell into the river.
The passersby who witnessed the incident called for help, then a man jumped into the river to rescue and brought Ms. N.T.N.H to shore.
After that, Ms. N.T.N.H was taken to the emergency room and her health was basically stable.
After receiving the information, An Don Ward Police stepped in to verify the man's identity to propose a reward.
"The woman's family also did not know about the favor and jumped into the river. We will verify and clarify to propose to all levels to commend and reward that brave man" - An Don Ward Police informed.
