HUE - The coastal road project and Thuan An sea gate overpass are being accelerated, expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year.

Therefore, when standing kilometers away, it is still easy to see the structure.When completed, the bridge will have a spacious, modern and aesthetically beautiful appearance.The railing system on both sides of the bridge has been completed and extended for kilometers.However, although the bridge construction has been completed, the access road system to the bridge is still facing site clearance issues and cannot be opened to traffic.The road leading to the southern section of the bridge is still quite messy, and many households are in the process of handing over land.This section is 2.19km long, expected to be constructed until the second quarter of this year, provided that the entire site is handed over early.At the construction site, many workers and machinery are focusing on carrying out site clearance and completing the southern access road.Workers focus on completing the access road to the northern section of the bridge.The Hue City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (the project investor) said that site clearance work in the southern section has been completed and handed over to the construction unit. The contractor is focusing on construction, striving to complete it before March 26.According to the project investor, it is expected that by the second quarter of this year, phase 1 will be fully completed and officially put into operation and exploitation.
The coastal road and Thuan An estuary overpass project (Thuan An ward, Hue City) is a key traffic project with a total investment capital (phase 1) of 2,400 billion VND. Started at the end of March 2022, the project has a total length of more than 7.7km, of which the bridge section is about 2.36km long.
The project includes four lanes for motorized vehicles and two lanes for rudimentary vehicles, playing a role in connecting coastal roads, serving the development of infrastructure, tourism, and urban areas of Hue City.
