The People's Committee of Cao Bang province has just issued a decision on converting the form of land use of the Center for Investigation, Measurement and Planning of Agricultural and Forestry Resources from leasing land with annual payments to land allocation without land use fees.
According to this decision, the area of 337m2 of land in Hop Giang ward, Cao Bang city - where the Center is headquartered - will be converted from the form of "The State leases land and pays annual land rent" to "The State allocates land without collecting land use fees".
At the same time, the land use purpose is adjusted to "Land for construction of other public works", in accordance with the operational functions of the Center.
This decision also partially replaces the content of Decision No. 1717/QD-UBND dated October 7, 2015, which previously converted land from non-payment allocation to lease of land with payment.
The management and use of the land will continue to be implemented according to Decision No. 737/QD-UB-ND issued in 1997 - the document that approved the boundary and allocated land for construction to this unit from the first stage.
To implement the decision, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is responsible for notifying the termination of the land lease contract and guiding land use management according to regulations.
The Center for Agricultural, Measurement and Forestry Resources Planning is required to use land for the right purpose, within the right boundary and area, and at the same time pay related fees according to regulations, if any.
This is a move in line with the new regulations of the 2024 Land Law, while creating more favorable conditions for stable and long-term operations of public service organizations in the fields of agriculture, natural resources and environment in the locality.
