Under the support of the Spanish Ministry of Culture, the Embassy of Spain in Vietnam, the poem "Together with Vietnam" was introduced to Vietnamese readers by Kim Dong Publishing House on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

"Together with Vietnam" marking the friendship and solidarity between the two countries of Vietnam - Spain with more than 40 poems composed in the 1960s, the period of anti -American resistance war was the most fierce, also when the anti -war movement spread globally. The poem collection was compiled by female artist Angelina Gatell with the participation of many famous poets such as Rafael Alberti, Gabriel Celaya, Gloria Fuertes, Jose Agustin Goytisolo, Celso Emilio Ferreiro ...
At a special time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, With Vietnam returns as a vivid proof in poetic language. The poetry collection is also a deep and sincere support for Vietnam from the other side of the world - expressing international solidarity and the desire for peace.

With Vietnam is not only a story but also a voice of humanity that transcends time, reflecting the affectionate view of Spanish intellectuals towards Vietnam. Those verses not only express love for a nation, but also the voice of conscience, of conscience in the face of war pain.
The poetry collection is also a cultural bridge between Vietnam and Spain, helping Vietnamese readers today understand more about the country and people of Spain. The appearance of the book contributes to arousing faith in the value of peace, freedom, and national independence in the context of a modern world with many uncertainties.
The poetry collection was translated by Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung with all her emotions and understanding. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Spanish Language, Hanoi University.
At the launching ceremony of the poem, the Spanish Ambassador to Vietnam - Ms. Carmen Cano de Lasala - said that after a period of 60 years from the release, the new book could reach Vietnamese readers. The book contains a lot of love from Spanish poets for Vietnam in an unforgettable period - resistance against the US. The book is also considered a bridge connecting the two countries, while helping Vietnamese readers better understand the contemporary Spanish poetry.

Because he could not find the original paintings and engravings by artist Julio Alvarez, in this Vietnamese edition, the poetry collection was painted by 6 Spanish artists and 6 Vietnamese artists with new illustrations. This creates an artistic dialogue through time and space that expresses the deep resonance between poetry and painting in conveying the message of peace, anti-war and solidarity among humanity.
