Chairman Tran Thanh Man urges cadres to unite, exploit technology, work seriously

Lê Thanh Phong |

On June 30, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man worked in Can Tho, along with a working group to inspect the Public Administration Service Center in the area.

Working with cadres and civil servants of Can Tho city, Chairman Tran Thanh Man instructed 3 things:

First of all, it is necessary to be united, Chairman Tran Thanh Man said: "The most important thing is to promote the spirit of solidarity. Comrades in Can Tho City must be united, unanimous, and work together to do well the two words of solidarity to ensure success".

Solidarity is very necessary at this time and requires more in localities merging provinces and cities. We must ignore private and local matters, focus on the common work, the country's goods and services.

Second, Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that to reduce human time and energy, it is necessary to promote digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI). Each ward officer must use an AI virtual assistant to support their work to achieve efficiency.

We talk too much about digitalization, e-government, and this is the time to make those things a reality. With the pressure of work after the merger, the grassroots government has solved many problems, the population is larger, so it is not possible to work by hand as before.

Exploiting technology applications in administrative activities will save time, energy, and money for the state and the people.

If cadres and civil servants do not have access to new technology, do not have the skills to work in cyberspace, with cross-border applications and platforms, they will not be able to meet the operational requirements of the new apparatus.

Third, Chairman Tran Thanh Man instructed commune and ward officials to go to work on time, he noted: "We have to work 8 hours a day and not to drink or neglect work".

This is a very specific advice, close to reality, true to the disease that is existing in many agencies and units.

Inconsistent weather conditions are quite common, and there are also many officials who reduce their working hours for the state. It is time to completely treat this disease, build a civilized agency, go to work, meet on time, work seriously, with quality, and effectively.

It must also be frankly admitted that there are many cadres and civil servants who are led by bribes, lending reasons to receive guests, drinking, or neglecting work.

The cadres and civil servants after the arrangement and streamlining must be professional, capable and highly organized, especially dedicated to work, with the spirit of serving the people.
