But how can "P Party's propaganda" truly enter the "people's hearts", so that the Party's policies and Resolutions do not stop at documents but become actions, into a movement that spreads widely in social life?
In the core position, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has been taking on that especially important role.
For the 2020-2025 term alone, the entire Front system has deployed more than 231,000 monitoring sessions and nearly 86,000 social criticism sessions. These are not just dry numbers. Behind that are millions of opinions of the people recorded, from land, environment, social security to personnel work. Many draft documents have been adjusted and supplemented after criticism, making the Party's Resolution closer to reality and closer to the people. Obviously, supervision and criticism are not procedural, but a testament to true democracy, where the people participate right from the policy making stage.
Each National Assembly session, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front synthesizes more than 3,000 voters' recommendations. Concerns such as land management, anti-corruption, administrative reform, healthcare, education, etc. were all fully conveyed. Since then, many issues have been resolved promptly, and the legitimate and legal rights of the people have been protected. Many localities have also issued regulations on direct dialogue between heads of Party committees and authorities and the people. That is an important step forward, creating a foundation for "people to speak - the Party, the government to listen and act".
Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Front and its member organizations have promoted many models of community supervision: "People monitor cadres and party members", "Community investment supervision frontline"... Many negative incidents at the grassroots level have been discovered and recommended for handling. In particular, the coordination of organizing the National Press Award on preventing and combating corruption and negativity has strongly spread the spirit of uncompromising struggle. It is in these channels that the people clearly see the Party's determination in building, rectifying the Party, and cleaning up the apparatus.
In the election of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term, the Front system organized more than 103,000 trade conferences and 96,000 meetings with voters. Thanks to careful preparation and supervision, the turning voters are over 99%. That number not only reflects the sense of responsibility, but also affirms the consensus and trust of the people. Election Day truly became a big festival, where "the Party - the People's Heart" met.
The 14th National Congress of the Party is expected to bring the country into a new phase. More than ever, the requirements and tasks of "Party - People's Heart" have become more urgent. To do this task well, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front needs to continue to improve the quality of its staff, expand direct dialogue forums, and promote the application of digital technology in receiving and processing people's petitions. As society develops more and more, people's aspirations are increasingly diverse, listening, reflecting and taking timely action becomes more urgent. The role of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations is irreplaceable in realizing the requirement of "pathy for the Party and the people". Every monitoring session, every recommendation that is listened to, every negative that is handled promptly is a step to strengthen trust. And that belief will become a great source of strength, helping the country continue to steadfastly walk on the path of innovation and integration.
