The clip recording the assault was posted on social media on the evening of February 10.
According to the camera footage, the Lexus driver and the motorbike shipper had a minor collision in lane 310 Nghi Tam (Yen Phu ward), causing no damage to the vehicle. However, the man driving the Lexus got out of the car and rushed in to punch and kick the male shipper. Not only was punching and kicking not enough, the Lexus driver also snatched the shipper's helmet and hit the victim on the head, causing the helmet to shatter.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung (the victim of the assault) said that he still had a headache, was dizzy, his right eye was still swollen, torn in many places and had a nosebleed. Mr. Hung was taken by the police for a disability assessment.
The assault on the shipper went viral on social media, quickly becoming a topic of discussion about street violence, which often occurs after traffic collisions. In this case, the male shipper did not cause trouble, did not resist, only apologized, but the Lexus driver still beat the victim. Evidence from the clip and witnesses showed that the Lexus driver's actions showed signs of violating the law.
Recently, there have been a series of brutal assaults on others after traffic collisions. There was a case of a man brutally beating a woman, Bui Thanh Khoa (40 years old), who was sentenced to 1 year in prison for intentionally causing injury. There was a case of a fatal beating, the perpetrator Le Van Hien (born in 1988), was arrested for investigation of intentionally causing injury.
These assaults show that the perpetrators disregard the health and lives of others, including the weak and women. This is a manifestation of moral degradation in society that must be condemned.

Returning to the case of the shipper being brutally beaten in Yen Phu ward, it is known that Yen Phu ward police invited the Lexus driver, the male shipper and witnesses to the headquarters to work and record statements.
