Control salt levels
Limit salt and soy sauce when cooking; avoid pickles, salted meat and dishes with high salt content. When buying packaged foods, you should check the amount of sodium, prioritizing products below 500 mg of sodium/100 grams.
Be careful when taking medication
Do not arbitrarily take medicine when you feel unwell. Consult your doctor; for common diseases, physical therapy may be prioritized over oral painkillers. The use of functional foods also requires professional guidance. Avoid using folk remedies to "done dialysis" arbitrarily.
Drink enough water, do not urinate
Try to drink 1,500-2,000 ml of water per day and go to the toilet immediately when you feel dizzy. Increase water intake when it is hot or after exercise.
Eat a balanced diet, limit protein and purines
Diversify portions, combine refined grains and whole grains. Reduce red meat, limit energy-rich dishes such as hotpot, night food. People with kidney disease or hyperuricemia should be consulted on specific nutrition.
Regular health monitoring
Control your blood pressure (under 130/80 mmHg), blood sugar and blood lipids well according to your doctor's recommendations. Do not arbitrarily stop or reduce the drug. People with chronic diseases should check their urine and kidney function every 6 months to promptly detect abnormalities.
