As of April 16, there are 65 medical examination and treatment facilities in Hanoi that meet the conditions for examination and issuance of interconnected driver's health certificates. These facilities have successfully connected more than 502,000 driver's health certificates to the system, contributing to supporting people to perform public services more conveniently.
In recent times, the Hanoi Department of Health has actively coordinated with the Social Insurance agency and related units to seriously implement the direction and guidance of the Ministry of Health on connecting data on driver's health certificates. This is part of the roadmap to implement Project 06 on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.
The connection of driver's health certificates helps save time and costs for people, while simplifying administrative procedures. People can request a new or new driver's license completely online.
