According to Minister Dao Hong Lan, Bach Mai Hospital is a vivid testament to the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW on digital transformation and Resolution 72-NQ/TW on protecting, caring for and improving people's health. In particular, many pioneering milestones have been affirmed: The first special-class hospital to deploy a full-process electronic medical record; developing the Bach Mai Care application - the first hospital application to sign for digital and authenticate via VNeID; announce the Smart Hospital and School Governance System with a comprehensive digital process; research artificial intelligence software to support early detection of lung cancer, opening up opportunities for life for many patients.

Minister Dao Hong Lan assigned Bach Mai Hospital 5 key tasks: Affirming the position of a special-class hospital, promoting digital transformation, training "4.0 doctors", supporting lower levels and soon putting Ninh Binh 2 facilities into operation. The Minister emphasized that this is the foundation for Vietnam's healthcare to modernize and integrate internationally.

Director of Bach Mai Hospital Dao Xuan Co affirmed that digital transformation at Bach Mai Hospital is not only the application of technology but also a strategic mission, combining digital governance with clinical breakthroughs. The implementation of a no-package management system helps the hospital save about 100 billion VND per year, while improving the patient experience. Digital transformation has become a strategic pillar, along with key areas such as multi-organ transplantation, robotic surgery, stem cell, gene therapy and 3D printing applications in healthcare.

Bach Mai Hospital has pioneered the entire electronic medical record process, reducing administrative procedures, saving time, improving the quality of care and transparency. The hospital also developed the Bach Mai Care application to integrate registration for examination, health check-ups, authentication and digital signature via VNeID, bringing digital technology closer to the people. In particular, artificial intelligence software that supports early diagnosis of lung cancer has opened up opportunities for life for many patients.

Recently, Bach Mai continued to announce the hospital management system - a smart school without documents, creating the premise for replicating the transparent, modern and professional "smart hospital" model.
