The Ministry of Health requests to remove ByHeart milk products on e-commerce platforms

The Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) proposed to remove ByHeart milk from e-commerce platforms to ensure consumer safety.

Regarding the ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula formula product being infected in the US, ByHeart Inc. - the product manufacturer - is voluntarily recalling all milk lots on the market.

To ensure consumer health, the Food Safety Department requires the Department of Health, the Department of Food Safety and the Food Safety Sub-Departments of provinces and cities to review the registration of self-declaration and self-declaration for the ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula formula product produced by ByHeart Inc. (USA).

Working with the product announcement company (if any), request: Notify distributors and consumers to stop using the product; Proceeding with recall according to the manufacturer's recommendation; Report the imported quantity, the sold quantity, the inventory quantity and propose measures to handle these product lots. Propagate information to consumers, recommend not to use all of the above product batches.

Currently, on some e-commerce platforms and e-commerce applications in Vietnam such as Lazada,... there is a business of ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula formula milk products. Therefore, the Food Safety Department recommends that the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy request e-commerce platforms and e-commerce applications to remove product information, to ensure consumer health and support the handling of customer recommendations and complaints (if any).
