The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that parents immediately stop using all ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula products in all batches and sizes. ByHeart Inc. has voluntarily recalled all products in the US market.
Before the above information, on the evening of November 20, the Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health) requested to go to localities.
To ensure the health safety of consumers in Vietnam, the Food Safety Department recommends that the Department of Health, the Department of Food Safety and the Food Safety Sub-Department of provinces and cities urgently review product declaration documents. Check the registration of the declaration or self-declaration of the ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula formula milk product.
Working with related enterprises. If there is an importing unit or a domestic product announcement, it is required to: Notify the distribution facilities and consumers to stop using the product. Revoking the product according to the manufacturer's recommendation. Fully report the quantity of imported products, the quantity sold, the quantity in stock and propose handling directions.
Strengthen communication to consumers: Worldwide information so that people do not use any batch of ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula products.
Report the results before November 28.
The Food Safety Department also recommends for consumers: Absolutely do not let children use any ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula formula.
If warning products are being sold on the market, people need to immediately notify local authorities for timely handling.
