Right on the official day of operation (July 9), Viet Duc Friendship Hospital Ninh Binh branch received the first emergency case and performed the first surgery, marking the beginning of bringing specialized, end-line medical services closer to the people in the area.
The patient is N.K.A. (born in 2008, residing in Ninh Binh province). According to family members, at about 10 pm on July 8, the patient had a domestic accident. After the accident, the patient was awake but in severe pain, limited movement of the left ankle. After receiving first aid at the grassroots hospital, the patient was transferred to Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, Ninh Binh branch for emergency treatment.
Through clinical examination and diagnostic imaging, doctors determined that the patient had closed fractures of both left ankles. After consultation, the professional team indicated bone fusion surgery to handle the injury in time.
