At about 16:30 on the same day, the Yen Binh Regional Medical Center admitted patient Le Van Kh (3 years old, in Van Phu ward, Lao Cai province), in a state of multiple injuries.
The head had many bleeding wounds, the largest wound was the scalp, 10cm exposed skull, the neck and shoulder area had many large, deep wounds, and blood.
According to the victim's family, at around 4:00 p.m. on July 18, Kh was bitten many times by a neighbor's dog in the head, neck, and face. The family performed first aid. Then he was taken to the Medical Center for emergency treatment.
Here, after examination, the doctors predicted that the child had multiple injuries to the soft tissue of the head, face, neck, and shoulder. In addition, Kh had a severed left vein and needed special attention.
After holding the blood, fix the bandage, infuse, relieve pain, and inject anti-rabies serum. The patient was transferred to Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital, Facility 1, for monitoring and treatment.
The child's health is now stable and is being cared for and monitored by doctors and nurses.
Previously, on the afternoon of July 17, in Luc Yen commune, Lao Cai province, there was also a case of a child being bitten by a dog while playing with a relative. After being attacked by a dog, the child was rescued by his family and taken to the commune health center for treatment.
