Talking to reporters at noon on June 25, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, Vice Chairwoman of Can Tho City People's Committee, said that she had grasped information that Tue Minh International Dental Facility was still operating for dental examination and treatment during the suspension period.
The Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee directed the Director of the Department of Health to have strong measures to handle thoroughly and provide information to the press fully and promptly.
Repeated reminders, signs of disregard for the law
It is known that after issuing the Decision on sanctioning administrative violations (on March 12, 2026) for Tue Minh International Dental Facility (Vi Thanh Ward, Can Tho City), by May 2026, the Can Tho Department of Health had a document on coordinating supervision of compliance with the sanctioning Decision sent to the People's Committee of Vi Thanh Ward.

Accordingly, the Department of Health has issued the 1st reminder Official Dispatch (No. 2176/SYT-QLDVYT dated March 31, 2026) and the 2nd (No. 2105/SYT-QLDVYT dated April 9, 2026), but the facility still continues to operate, showing signs of disregarding the law and causing great risks to public health.
Therefore, to thoroughly handle violations, the Department of Health requests the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee to pay attention and direct local functional forces to coordinate in implementing many contents.
Based on the proposal of the Department of Health, leaders of Vi Thanh Ward People's Committee said that they have directed the Ward Police force and related departments to directly request the facility to close and stop all medical examination and treatment activities according to the suspension period in the Penalty Decision.
Along with that, maintain periodic and unscheduled inspections at the establishment address. If the establishment is found to show signs of opening to welcome guests, operating secretly or changing signboards to do business in equivalent services, it is requested to make a scene record and immediately notify the Department of Health for coordination and handling.
Loudspeaker propaganda
In parallel with the notice recommending people not to use services at Tue Minh International Dental Center during the suspension period, on June 15, Vi Thanh Ward People's Committee also sent an official letter to agencies and units in the ward to focus on coordinating supervision of the implementation of the sanctioning decision of this unit.
Vi Thanh Ward Police presided over and coordinated with relevant agencies and units to request this facility to close and stop all medical examination and treatment activities on time for suspension.

The Ward People's Committee also requested the Ward General Service Center to carry out information dissemination and loudspeaker broadcasting to raise people in the area's vigilance, in order to protect the rights and health of people.
Most recently, on June 23, Vi Thanh Ward People's Committee also sent an official letter to Can Tho Department of Health regarding considering and soon taking measures to handle Tue Minh International Dental Facility.
The official dispatch clearly stated that the People's Committee of Vi Thanh ward has directed relevant agencies and sectors to coordinate in monitoring compliance in forms such as: going to mobilize directly at the grassroots level, and notifying on the ward's media.
In order to ensure people's health, the Ward People's Committee requests the Can Tho City Department of Health to consider and soon have measures to handle according to the provisions of law" - said the leader of Vi Thanh Ward People's Committee.
It is known that in addition to the facility in Vi Thanh ward, the Can Tho City Department of Health has also issued decisions to sanction administrative violations against 3 Tue Minh International Dental Centers (in Tan An ward, Cai Khe ward, Vinh Chau ward) located in Can Tho City.
