On August 25, according to information from Lang Son General Hospital, doctors from the Intensive Care - Anti-Poison Department in coordination with the Department of Cardiology, Lang Son General Hospital successfully treated and saved the life of a 45-year-old male patient after 5 consecutive cardiac arrest.
Accordingly, on August 7, 2025, the Intensive Care - Anti-Poison Department received a male patient, 45 years old, in a state of dizziness and fainting on the roadside after playing sports.
Upon admission, the patient fell into critical condition, was immediately given emergency care, respiratory and circulatory stability, and had tests and imaging diagnosis.
An electrocardiogram showed that the patient had an acute myocardial infarction. Doctors quickly consulted with the Cardiology Department and agreed to prescribe emergency coronary intervention to save life.

During the intervention, the patient had continuous cardiac arrest, heart vibrators, and was at very high risk of death. The team of doctors, nurses and technicians coordinated smoothly, taking turns applying cardiopulmonary pressures, ballistics, and electric shock outside the chest, while taking a photo and performing stent placement for re-enteral re-enteral re-enteral surgery.
The intervention lasted 2 stressful hours. Despite the successful intervention, the patient was still in critical condition with severe arrhythmia and signs of cerebral edema due to consecutive circulatory arrest.
Immediately, the patient was transferred to the Intensive Care - Anti-Poison Department for further treatment according to the regimen: sedative, anti-encepsia, anti-dystorms, anti-coagulation and close monitoring.
After 7 days of intensive resuscitation, the patient was alert, the arrhythmia was completely stable, no damage or cerebral edema was recorded.
This is a clear demonstration of the increasingly improved cardiovascular intervention and emergency resuscitation capacity at Lang Son General Hospital.
