Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet has just signed Decision No. 1343/QD-UBND to establish a Steering Committee to implement the National Strategy for Tuberculosis Prevention and Control until 2030 and end tuberculosis in Da Nang City. The Head of the Steering Committee is Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi; the Director of the Department of Health is the Deputy Head of the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee is responsible for researching and proposing to the Chairman of the City People's Committee to implement strategies, directions, solutions, and action programs to address issues related to the implementation of the National Strategy for Tuberculosis Prevention and Control until 2030 and ending tuberculosis in Da Nang city.
Develop an annual activity plan in line with the practical situation of labor prevention and control in the city; coordinate resources, mobilize inter-sectoral coordination and direct the implementation to ensure the completion of the set goals.
Assist the Chairman of the City People's Committee to direct and coordinate departments, branches, unions, localities and units in resolving issues related to strengthening labor prevention and control; urge, inspect and supervise departments, branches, unions, localities and units in implementing tasks, action programs and activities related to the National Strategy for Tuberculosis Prevention and Control until 2030 and ending tuberculosis in Da Nang City.
