On October 24, Dien Bien General Hospital received and treated male patient V.H.T. (born in 2000, residing in Thanh Yen commune) in a state of left-footed deformities due to a traffic accident.
At the time of hospitalization, patient T. suffered multiple injuries, left frontal soft tissue wound, and a multiple fracture of the left rib. In particular, the deformity of the left ankle and the wound was almost severed.


Immediately after the urgent consultation, the patient was transferred directly to the operating room. The surgery lasted about 4 hours and ended at 3:00 p.m. the same day.
Doctors performed surgery to reconnect the severed limb (left leg), and performed a duodenal drainage and treated the patient's scalp locust.
According to records at 4:30 p.m., patient T. was conscious, contagious, and not paralyzed. vital signs are temporarily stable.
Currently, patient V.H.T. is being monitored for resuscitation and continues to be treated at Dien Bien General Hospital.
