According to the resolution, the standard social assistance level of Hanoi is determined to be 650,000 VND/month.
For children under 4 years old, the allowance coefficient is 2.5, corresponding to the amount received each month is:
2.5 x 650,000 VND = 1,625,000 VND/month
This is a level of support to ensure minimum living conditions for groups of children in particularly difficult circumstances.
Not all children receive this support. For children under 4 years old, they will receive 1,625,000 VND/month in monthly social allowances when:
- Orphaned (or unidentified) father or mother and the other person is a disabled person receiving monthly social assistance benefits.
- Having a father or mother who is a disabled person receiving monthly social allowances and the other person belongs to one of the following cases: Being declared missing according to the provisions of law; serving a prison sentence in prison; serving a decision to handle administrative violations at a reformatory school, compulsory education institution, compulsory drug rehabilitation institution; receiving care and nurturing benefits at social assistance facilities.
- Both parents are disabled people and are receiving monthly social allowances.
