Notably, according to the report of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of Thai Binh province, among the recent dengue fever cases last week, 3 new outbreaks were recorded in 3 communes including Dong My (Thai Binh city), Vu Ninh (Kien Xuong district) and Dong Trung (Tien Hai district).
Cumulatively from the beginning of 2024 to present, the whole Thai Binh province has recorded a total of 1,020 cases of dengue fever, of which the number of endogenous cases accounts for more than 63%.
Thai Binh Provincial Disease Control Center has coordinated with localities to promptly and effectively handle dengue fever cases and outbreaks; continue to implement disease prevention and control measures, ensure environmental sanitation in high-risk areas; organize spraying of chemicals to kill disease-carrying insects in high-risk areas after performing general environmental sanitation.
CDC Thai Binh recommends and requests relevant units to strengthen communication work, provide timely and complete information on the epidemic situation, and measures to prevent dangerous infectious diseases.
