Two types of nuts when combined help eliminate visceral fat effectively

Visceral fat is a risk factor for many metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, fatty liver and cardiovascular disease.

In addition to exercise, nutrition plays a key role in controlling visceral fat. Many recent studies have shown that the combination of almonds and flaxseeds can bring outstanding results.

According to Dr. Kathy Mc Manus, Director of Nutrition at Brigham and Women's Hospital (USA): "Almonds are rich in monounsaturated fats, protein and vitamin E. They not only create a feeling of fullness for a long time but also improve blood cholesterol levels, thereby supporting the reduction of excess fat, especially in the abdomen".

Meanwhile, flaxseeds contain high levels of plant omega-3 and soluble fiber, which help regulate blood sugar and reduce inflammation. Omega-3 fatty acids in flaxseed have been shown to reduce visceral fat accumulation and improve insulin sensitivity, says Dr. Michael R. Lyon, a nutrition research expert in Canada.

When combining almonds and flaxseeds, the body receives both protein and good fats, and fiber to help control hunger and prevent fat accumulation. In addition, this pair is also rich in antioxidants, contributing to reducing oxidative stress, a factor related to the formation of visceral fat.

The way to use it is also very simple: you can puree flaxseeds, mix with yogurt or oatmeal in the morning, and eat with a handful of roasted almonds. The recommended dosage is 2030g almonds and 12 tablespoons flaxseed per day.

Experts affirm that this is not an immediate weight loss medicine, but if persistently combined with a healthy lifestyle, the pair of almonds and flaxseeds will be effective assistants to help the body reduce visceral fat and protect the cardiovascular system in the long term.
