On April 10, Thuan An City Medical Center said it had successfully received and performed emergency surgery on a case of a broken penis. The patient admitted to the emergency room was Mr. N.V.C (30 years old, living in Binh Duong).
Patient N.V.C was admitted by doctors from the Emergency Department and the Surgery Department in a state of swelling, bruising and severe pain in the penis.
According to Mr. N.V.C, while he was walking, he slipped and fell down the stairs, colliding with his genitals. After that, he saw that his penis was swollen, bruised and in a lot of pain, so he went to Thuan An City Medical Center for examination.
Here, doctors coordinated to examine, perform an ultrasound and do the necessary paraclinical tests to diagnose and prescribe emergency surgery for the patient.
During emergency surgery, doctors discovered that the patient had a white broken cavity. The surgical team has taken hematoma, sewing white bags and stitching the incision. After 2 days, the patient recovered well, the penis was less swollen, less painful, normal urination, expected to discharge after the next few days.
